Climate change is recognized by WRI as a critical threat to people’s lives and the environment. To minimize our own climate impact and hold ourselves to the same standard that we expect from others, WRI is committed to reducing its CO2 emissions to net zero each year and publishing its “lessons learned”. The project provides WRI with direct experience and increased understanding of the climate policy issues that face business and informs our efforts to help service and retail sector companies also achieve greenhouse gas reductions.

The project draws on the collective learning and expertise of the GHG Protocol, the Green Power Market Development Group, Climate Northeast and WRI’s participation in the Chicago Climate Exchange.
