Tim Herzog is the Director of Online Communications at the World Resources Institute. He is also the communications liaison for the Climate and Energy Program, and an expert on international and state-level GHG emissions data and inventories.
As the Director of Online Communications, Mr. Herzog oversees content and online resources for WRI’s main website and sister sites. His responsibilities include story development and review, repurposing WRI publications and work for online use, communications strategies, and maintaining and strengthening WRI’s online communications capacity.
Tim is also a policy analyst in WRI’s Climate and Energy Program, and an advisor to the Climate Analysis Indicators Tool, where he focuses on GHG inventories, related indicators, and analytical tools.
Prior to joining WRI in January, 2004, Mr. Herzog worked in the private sector as a technology consultant to several leading U.S. companies. He is also a veteran of several political campaigns at the national, state and local level.
Mr. Herzog holds a Master’s degree in public policy from the Georgetown Public Policy Institute and a bachelor’s degree in communications from Bethel University in Minnesota.
