Robert’s work at WRI is focused on Federal climate change policy and corporate deployment of renewable energy. As part of the Green Power Market Development Group team, Robert draws on his experience in the private sector to develop innovative green power products for corporate consumers. Robert’s work on U.S. policy includes analysis, both economic and political, of legislative proposals to address global warming.

In his life prior to WRI, Robert worked as a corporate sustainability analyst at the Robert’s Environmental Center, a botanist in the Sierra Nevada and an agricultural policy researcher for the U.S.D.A. in Bulgaria. Although easy access to Yosemite, Joshua Tree and the Channel Islands nearly prevented it, Robert graduated with a B.A. in Environmental Studies, Economics and Politics from Claremont McKenna College.
