Remi Moncel is the Coordinator of WRI's Institutions and Governance Program. Remi first joined WRI as a consultant for the Green Power Market Development group where he conducted research on renewable energy markets and regulation in the United States, Europe and Asia with a view to helping corporate group members pursue clean energy opportunities. WRI's Institutions and Governance Program works with Governments, NGOs and public and private banks to promote more transparent, inclusive and accountable decision-making on environmental and natural resource issues. Remi's areas of interest include clean energy and regulation, international trade policy and sustainable development.
Remi holds a Master's degree in Political Science with a focus on international development and international trade policy from France's Sciences Po in Lyon, and first came to Washington D.C. to study at Georgetown University as part of a graduate exchange program.
