Payson Schwin is the Online Communications Officer at the World Resources Institute, where he helps to develop and execute WRI’s online communications strategy.

Before joining WRI, Payson worked for the Center for American Progress, where he wrote for their blog, Think Progress, and their daily e-newsletter, The Progress Report. Most recently, he was the online mobilization coordinator at the AFL-CIO. Payson currently writes about the intersection of green business and politics on his blog, Green Dollars and Sense. Originally from Atlanta, GA, Payson earned his bachelor’s degree in government from Harvard University. His interests include playing soccer, watching soccer (especially D.C. United) and performing music.
