Jonathan Talbot is Manager of Communications for Governance at the World Resources Institute. He performs strategic communications planning, media outreach, editing and writing in support of WRI’s Institutions and Governance Program.

His most recent degree was an MS in Science & Medical Journalism from the Knight Center at the College of Communication of Boston University. Prior to his time in Boston, he worked in marketing for an environmental engineering company, ran a community-oriented nonprofit that focused on teaching bicycle repair, and earned a BA in Science & Technology Studies from Cornell University’s College of Arts & Sciences.

He has previously interned or worked for nonprofits including the Union of Concerned Scientists, the Marine Biological Laboratory at Woods Hole, Defenders of Wildlife, the EarthSave Foundation, and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.

Jon is also an avid photographer.
