Crystal Davis is a Research Analyst at WRI. Her research primarily focuses on promoting good governance in the forest sector in developing countries, including working with WRI’s international climate team to develop frameworks for reducing greenhouse gas emissions from tropical deforestation.

Prior to joining WRI, Crystal researched environmental governance in Uganda and studied conservation biology in the tropical rainforests of South America and Eastern Africa. She holds a B.S. and M.S. in Environmental Science from Stanford University.
