A Brazilian native, Adriana has a law degree from the University of Passo Fundo, Rio Grande do Sul, in Brazil, and it is currently pursuing a double masters degree (Business Administration and International Management) at University of Maryland University College. She started working in Brazil while still in high school and, prior to joining the World Resources Institute, held many different positions in Brazilian court houses.

Adriana joined WRI in 2005 and recently became a member of the Markets & Enterprise team where she is the operations manager, taking on the program’s financial and administrative activities.
